Overview
PlayCast is a sports live streaming app that helps users create and manage YouTube live broadcasts. This policy explains what information PlayCast uses and how it is handled.
What data is collected
When you sign in with Google, PlayCast may receive your name, email address, Google account ID, and profile picture. PlayCast also stores authorization tokens needed to access YouTube features you approve.
If you choose to save venue WiFi information, PlayCast may store WiFi network names and passwords so the app can reconnect at venues.
How data is used
PlayCast uses this information to sign you in, access YouTube services you authorize, create and manage live broadcasts, maintain your login session, and reconnect to saved venue WiFi networks.
PlayCast does not sell your information and does not use it for advertising.
How data is stored
PlayCast is designed without a PlayCast-owned backend server for user data. Account information, authorization tokens, and saved WiFi credentials are stored locally on your Android device and protected with Android security features where available.
Third-party services
PlayCast uses Google Sign-In and the YouTube Data API. Your use of those services is also governed by Google’s Privacy Policy, YouTube Terms of Service, and your Google account settings.
Data deletion
You can delete PlayCast data by signing out, removing saved WiFi networks inside the app, clearing app storage in Android Settings, or uninstalling the app. You can also revoke PlayCast access in your Google Account permissions.
Children’s privacy
PlayCast is intended for parents, coaches, teams, leagues, and organizations managing sports broadcasts. It is not specifically directed toward children under 13.
